No more shows for 2011, watch this space for 2012.

A "dummy" warp was been put on the loom first. This warp was threaded through the heddles and the reed in the beater. Now the warps for the project could just be tied onto the dummy warp instead of starting completely over each time.
Winding the warp on the warping board. Each thread is actually 2 threads wound together. Each color of each pattern required 7 yards wound of either 960 or 1200 threads to each 5 yards of finished fabric.

This shows a warp that was wound and ready to begin tying onto the dummy warp.

This shows the copper warp being tied onto the dummy warp. It was then wound onto the back warp beam, then tied onto the front cloth beam.
The copper warp being woven.

This is the brown warp being woven.

This shows the brown warp coming off the loom.

These are small panels woven in each of the patterns and colors on display at studio four nyc.
The fabric line was launched on 7 April, 2011.
